Lodge, Board and Training are free of cost and in return, the trainee is expected to contribute by being involved in all work within the community. This includes work in the office, on campus or teaching or any other work needed for the benefit of Nrityagram.

After the Advanced training, the trainee may be invited to join the Nrityagram Dance Ensemble as a professional dancer. As a member of the Nrityagram Dance Ensemble, she/he will receive a stipend every month in addition to Lodge, Board and Training and will also receive a fee for every performance that she/ he is a part of.

DAY SCHOLAR PROGRAMME
We have a programme for day scholars at Nrityagram. This is meant to provide training to students who are unable to be a part of Nrityagram's residential programme. This is a five-day programme and students receive 20 hours of instruction per week. A fee is charged for this programme.

CITY CLASSES

We have extended our dance outreach to urban Karnataka and have a programme of weekly dance classes in the city where participants receive 5 hours of training is Odissi or Bharatnatyam plus classes in dance theory, Yoga, body training and an introduction to Nrityagram's unique philosophy
