With this benchmark in mind, Nrityagram has a programme to create polished, world-class performers and welcomes serious and dedicated dancers who wish to excel in the field of classical dance. The Advanced Training is an intensive programme and will require the student be required to show total dedication, motivation and hard work. As part of this training, the student will work with teachers and dancers from all over the world.

When the student has reached a level of perfection in keeping with our standards, she/he may be invited to apprentice as a performer with the internationally acclaimed Nrityagram Dance Ensemble. This will also be part of the training.

As stated above, Nrityagram, Lodge, Board and Training is free of cost. In return, you will be expected to be a contributing member of our community and be involved in all work within the community, from working in the office, on campus to teaching or any other work needed for the benefit of Nrityagram.

After the Advanced training, the student may be invited to join the Nrityagram Dance Ensemble as a professional dancer. As a member of the Nrityagram Dance Ensemble, she/he will receive a stipend every month in addition to Lodge, Board and Training and in addition will receive a fee for every performance that she/he is a part of.
