centre which will be open to scholars from
all over the world to document, research and develop
classical dance.
Project
Nrityagyan already includes the following:
Village Outreach: On weekends, approximately
300 local village children receive free dance
training at Nrityagram. Weekend classes are conducted
in Odissi, Kathak and Bharatnatyam and students
receive dance instruction for 5 hours every Sunday.
Students, who show promise, perform at our annual
festival, Vasantahabba.
