The Future

· All Gurukuls

Nrityagram hopes to open Gurukuls for the remaining four styles of classical Indian Dance including Bharatnatyam, Manipuri, Kuchipudi, Kathakali.

· Centre for Modern Work

· Resource Centre
Nrityagram has been set up for the preservation and popularisation of the seven Indian classical dance styles and two martial dance arts. In these times of change and loss of interest in classicism, it is our constant effort to create means, which will ensure the continuity of classical dance.

While it is important to ensure preservation, we are constantly in search of ways to internationalise Nrityagram in terms of quality of dancers, the curriculum, the methodology used in training, etc. At present, we have a successful training programme at Nrityagram. We have devised methods of training that draws inspiration from methodology used in dance in different parts of the world.
